1953: Founded by Bram Appel and Morris Olfman, Electroline begins its operations in Montréal, Québec selling and installing external antennas for better television signal reception.

1954: Distributes products for the construction of TV signals to apartment buildings for use by the first cable service providers.

1967: Manufactures passive products to distribute signals to apartment buildings and the first cable networks.

1978: Electroline shifts its focus toward quality manufacturing and research and development activities.

1982: Launches a cutting-edge technology, the Addressable System, placing Electroline among the first companies to manufacture affordable broadband addressable control systems for the CATV marketplace. Today, it is the world's most widely used cable TV off-premises control system.

1987: Develops expertise in broadband passive devices with 600 MHz bandwidth products: filters, multitaps, splitters, directional couplers, and addressable equipment for MDUs.

1989: Electroline develops a patented interdiction system for jamming selected television signals.

1992: Launches its first 1 GHz bandwidth products: the addressable CAT™, splitters, and directional couplers
1993: Launches the world's first drop amplifier with a 3dB noise figure by incorporating gallium arsenide (GaAs) technology in its design.
1996: Faced with the challenges posed by the wide-scale changes in cable technology, it develops the first complete solution to detect, isolate, and locate ingress in a matter of minutes by introducing its CLEARPath™ technology.
1998: Launches latest addressable tap technology, the RetroPlate™, a product with a unique design to allow fast and simple conversion from passive taps to addressable taps.

2000: Launches the CLEARPath Locator Software for Trilithic, building a reliable solution for ingress management.

2001: Introduces two application-specific drop amplifiers. The EDA-EQ has a built-in forward equalizer, ideal for long cable drops. The EDA-UG unity gain drop amplifier splits signals in both 4 or 8 ways with a 0 dB loss.

2001: Electroline acquires VisionTeq, a Florida-based corporation offering a broad range of headend and field management products for the cable telecommunications marketplace.

2003:
Electroline celebrates 50 years in business.

2003: Offers a new HMS Transponder with Embedded DOCSIS® Modem (DHT) technology for managing, monitoring and controlling HFC network devices.
