ELECTROLINE RELEASES LOCATOR UPGRADE

New node scanning functions for greater return path visibility

Montreal, Canada - June 15, 2005 - Electroline Equipment Inc. has developed Electroline Locator software version 2.20, which is a key part of its CLEARPath ingress management product line.

Locator 2.20 includes major enhancements to the node scanning function of the Locator software to offer highly flexible control over which nodes are checked for noise, for how long and how often. Customization has been a driving factor in Electroline's approach to this new version, and other areas of the software have also been made more user-definable, such as the spectrum views, ingress searches, security features and so on.

The Locator software is at the heart of the Electroline's CLEARPath ingress management solution. As Carlene Gardner, Product Line Manager at Electroline Equipment Inc. explains, “VoIP requirements are a real challenge for the return path, which puts added pressure on operators to clean up the return band, and keep it clean, in order to guarantee optimal service conditions.
