The CAT-Agile (CAT-AGL) Decoder is the answer for taking control of difficult access Multiple Dwelling Units (MDU). It provides the control for the Electroline addressable splitter which allows cable operators to instantly connect or disconnect subscribers and remotely manage enhanced services. Its frequency-agile capability simplifies initial addressable deployment and keeps frequency allocation options open.
The CAT-Agile Decoder upgrades Electroline's field proven splitter system with the addition of a narrow-band agile data carrier. The CAT-Agile Decoder receives the data carrier from the Electroline's Control Unit in the headend and switches the attached CAT-T addressable splitters to the correct status.
As part of Electroline's Addressable System, the CAT provides dramatic reductions in truck rolls from high churn MDUs, overdue accounts, non-pay disconnects, and cable piracy.
