The
Addressable SuperTap™ allows the remote control of subscriber services
for single dwellings and small multiple dwelling unit applications. Addressable
Tap technology provides cable operators with several advantages such as
on/off switching of cable signals and remote management capabilities to
reduce truck rolls.
This outdoor tap supports on/off control of 1 or 2 tiers of service. The
1-tier (on/off) addressable version controls the entire bandwidth from
5 to 1000 MHz. The 2-tier addressable version provides on/off control
of 2 frequency bands for basic filtered or expanded service (5 to 1000
MHz).
